The Inter-American Bar Association (IABA) held its mid-year Council Meeting and International Seminar at the Eden Roc Hotel in Miami, Florida from October 29 -31, 2009. IABA President George Harper, whose firm Harper Meyer Perez Hagen O’Connor & Albert LLP co-sponsored the event, stated that the conference was a wonderful opportunity to interface with fellow international law practitioners from around the globe.
