Patricia Hernandez-O’Connor practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation and intellectual property. Her courtroom experience includes real estate litigation, where she has tried disputes between and among developers, brokerage firms, financial institutions and third parties. Her intellectual property practice includes trademark registration and litigation, resolution of domain name disputes, and intellectual property licensing. Prior to joining Harper Meyer, Ms. Hernández-O’Connor was a founding partner of O’Connor Law Group LLP.

Ms. Hernández-O’Connor is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. She also holds a degree in International Business from George Mason University. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar and the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.

While attending law school, Ms. Hernández-O’Connor clerked in the area of communications law with the Florida Justice Institute, where she assessed possible constitutional and regulatory challenges to the collect calling rates charged to the families of Florida’s inmates. She also clerked for the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, where she successfully appealed a number of adverse immigration decisions to the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Ms. Hernández-O’Connor is a native of Guatemala and has traveled extensively through Latin America and Europe. She is fluent in Spanish and English, and she is conversational in German.
